About Me 知我一點點 |
|
|
I used to an economist by day, and an Internet information junkie by night. I "retired" in late 2003 to become a full-time web surfer. This is my employment history. I last worked in the Research Department of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Before that, I was employed by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, spending most of the time in the East Asia Analytical Unit (now called Economic Analytical Unit). I started my career in the Economic Research Department of the Hang Seng Bank. An interview of me appeared on the Nov 2001 issue of The Hong Kong Accountant. The interview was originally done for the Company Secretary and appeared on the Oct 2001 issue. I had my 15 minutes of fame (actually infamy), when a Hong Kong newspaper devoted almost a quarter of a page to criticising my poor performance at a press conference. I am enjoying my "retirement" life in Brisbane, Australia. |
